Bon Khao Restaurant: City View

Nice quiet restaurant at the top of a hill. Come in the evening before it gets dusk and you can enjoy the view of the town. They have a live singer one man band. Food is generally good and their signature is the German pork trotters.

Very tasty food from the menu, good experience. Didnt like the crab curry though, but the cashew nut chicken and pineapple fried rice is done nicely. Good view at night too, just be sure to bring your own repellant.

Love the atmosphere of this restaurant: the views, the natural surroundings, the decorations. Especially when the sun dipped into the hills, it gave us a great chills.Their staff were very friendly and polite, and they also have a singer performing live on the little stage. Not only that, their foods were seriously great with reasonable price.

Nice view on the hill overlooking Hat Yai city. Recommend to come before 6pm and reserve a good view table. Deep fried pork leg is a must. Food is served quite fast although restaurant is full.

Nice pork knuckle. Food is delicious. Have good view of Hatyai from hill side. Is a little difficult to find the direction as Google map direction is incorrect. Pls turn right (not left) once you drive in from the main road. Is better come in evening to avoid the afternoon sun. Overall very good place for food and view. Price is reasonable. Parking is limited so take note.

Located high above Hat Yai, this is a perfect location for a romantic dinner for two, an intimate setting for just a few close friends, or a fun place for a large party. The staff is amazing and the food is excellent. We will keep this in our "go to" list for future visits to Hat Yai.

This restaurant is situated on a hilltop. Getting there needs the help of Google Maps for non local diners. The open air dining section offers the view of Hatyai city. It is nice in the evening. The food is acceptable, the service is fast but the prices are a little higher here.

You just can't imagine how lovely this restaurant is. This restaurant is located at the hill of the Hat Yai municipal park overlooking the western side of Hat Yai City. Therefore it is the perfect spot for sundown dinner.We, a team of ten, arrived pretty early before 5 pm, but we are just unlucky crashed with a mass dinner party that prebooked the entire verandah. We can only select a western corner that turned out to be a perfect spot for camera. We also killed a lot of camera shots till it was dark.We ordered drinks all way thru dinner and the final Bill was just 3700 baht. The value here is much much greater than Kan Eng and the food is much much more delicious. The only set back could be a bit remote.The most impressive dish has to be the Crisp Roast Leg of Pork. Just awesome.The sour and spicy Squid and fresh water shrimp on hot plate was a surprise. Totally unexpected delicious.The Beef salad was awesome and no place else can compare with.The deep fried soft shell crab was exceptionally delicious. We have made a repeat order but unfortunately never turn up. I appreciate the kitchen has been over steamed with mass party at the verandah. We cancelled when we have to leave.We are leaving Hat Yai after this dinner and it was so memorable that we must come back.
